Expanding Hands-on Science Education in Latin America: Reflections from the Reclone Workshops in Mendoza

In September 2025, Mendoza, Argentina, once again became a meeting point for educators and researchers committed to expanding access to molecular biology education across Latin America. Hosted at the National University of Cuyo (UNCuyo), two consecutive Reclone workshops brought together high school educators and university instructors for intensive hands-on training focused on accessible, open-source biotechnology tools.

Expandiendo la educación científica práctica en América Latina: reflexiones desde los talleres de Reclone en Mendoza

En septiembre de 2025, Mendoza, Argentina, volvió a convertirse en un punto de encuentro para educadores e investigadores comprometidos con ampliar el acceso a la educación en biología molecular en América Latina. Realizados en la Universidad Nacional de Cuyo (UNCuyo), dos talleres consecutivos de Reclone reunieron a docentes de secundaria y profesores universitarios para una capacitación intensiva y práctica centrada en herramientas biotecnológicas abiertas y accesibles.
