i mentioned this suggestion from the last reclone community meeting,
i think that Bromelain which is a cysteine protease could be extracted and used not only for medicinal purposes as suggested in this article, it could be used as an enzyme for biotechnology extraction or even an alternative for proteinase k.
this is a sustainable approach and i find it worth looking into, especially in latin america and i would like to discuss more about this if someone is interested to do research about it.
