Announcing a Reclone Node at Universidade de São Paulo, Brazil 🇧🇷

FAPESP has announced its support for a Reclone node in Brazil, hosted @MarkoHyvonen’s Lab at Universidade de São Paulo :brazil: :tada::tada::tada:

We held a soft launch this week at II Congresso Brasileiro de Biologia Sintética (photo below from the stage and the lab!).

Natalia Galdi Quel @ngquel will be leading the effort on the bench, and we’re really excited to welcome her to the Reclone community and the Reclone Latin America lab team, joining @Mage & @vanegaona in Teresa Damiani’s Lab at UNCuyo Mendoza (Argentina), @vferrando & @Severine in @FernanFederici’s lab at UC Chile Santiagio (Chile), and Diego Gabriel in @Daniel_GG’s lab at UPCH in Lima (Peru).

Onwards and upwards! :rocket:

Thanks for the shoutout Jenny. We are excited to join the community and contribute to these efforts!

Natalia @nquel is making a start at USP already and now we just need to refurbish our newly assigned laboratory space to get properly going. More to come soon, I hope.
