Hello, I’m Niamh, a member of the Technology development group and a UK-based collaborator with a research background in Molecular Biology and Bioengineering.
In April, I made a previous post about forming a pan-LATAM working group for a Call-to-Action Biopolicy, Biosecurity and Synthetic Biology whitepaper initiative.

In addition to having collaborators from universities and research institutes, I am seeking partners in biotechnology startups, research non-profits and Bioethics think-tanks.
I believe having a multi-disciplinary taskforce is a powerful foundation for a broad and impactful Whitepaper, spanning current R&D practice across LATAM in different sectors and providing evidence-based recommendations.
