Reclone Community Meeting Recap
Though it was more than a year ago, we extend our thanks once more for joining us for the inspiring updates from our Reclone Fellows! They shared valuable insights on “Building Reclone Hubs Worldwide”.
Here are some highlights from the discussion for those who may have missed it:
Fellows from Argentina (@dd.delbalzo and @rominarussi) presented progress on establishing and advancing their local Reclone Hub, focusing on open-source recombinant protein production and community collaboration.
@samoh from Ashesi University in Ghana provided an update on initiatives to build capacity for affordable, decentralised biotech tools and reagents through the Reclone network in Africa.
@MoiRelles and @Aaron_Macauyag from Ateneo de Manila University in the Philippines highlighted developments in their hub, emphasising education, local manufacturing, and expanding access to molecular biology resources.
