Like many scientists and researchers in Africa, Kingstone and his team faced many challenges in sourcing enzymes and reagents, due to the reliance on imports
Their journey started with PlasmidHub, initially focusing on plasmids, and evolved into Plasmigene, a comprehensive platform storing and distributing a wide array of molecular biology reagents
They are currently expanding their biomanufacturing work with support from Beneficial Bio, and joining forces with Reclone.org to redistribute our Open DNA Collections (ODC)
