:pushpin: Reclone Community Meeting Recap

Last week, we hosted an inspiring Community Call with @Kingstone . He shared about “Plasmigene’s Journey: Pioneering Progress in Biotech Manufacturing and Shaping the Future of Molecular Biology Research in Southern Africa and Beyond” :rocket:

Here are some highlights of their work:

:heavy_check_mark: Like many scientists and researchers in Africa, Kingstone and his team faced many challenges in sourcing enzymes and reagents, due to the reliance on imports :package:

:heavy_check_mark: Their journey started with PlasmidHub, initially focusing on plasmids, and evolved into Plasmigene, a comprehensive platform storing and distributing a wide array of molecular biology reagents :petri_dish:

:heavy_check_mark: They are currently expanding their biomanufacturing work with support from Beneficial Bio, and joining forces with Reclone.org to redistribute our Open DNA Collections (ODC) :dna:

You can check the complete session on our YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y3p6gBjIdFI

And reach out to @Kingstone to find out more :star_struck:
